the gardens are ‘stunning’, but my room was old and dingy. for this price, a complimentary bottle of water should be expected, not charged! upon arrival, i was treated like everyone else, despite my apparent superiority. i almost would have given a good review, but just couldn’t get over those little annoyances.

From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with smiles and refreshing drinks. Daily delicious breakfasts and the lush gardens provided a perfect retreat after exploring Victoria Falls.

We were disappointed in the cleanliness of our room, which felt dated for the high price. being charged for extra drinking water was unexpected and frustrating.

Staying at this lodge made my exploration of victoria falls effortless, as it’s under a 5-minute walk to the magnificent falls and just about 2 km away from the vibrant elephant's walk shopping and artist's village. waking up to breakfast on the verandah overlooking the gardens was truly a highlight of my mornings there.

I had the most delicious breakfast each morning overlooking the lush garden! The King Room with Garden View felt like a cozy paradise, inviting me to unwind after a day of exploring. Interacting with the staff was pure joy, they really added a warm and welcoming touch to every moment!

After a long journey, Batonka was a delightful oasis! The King Room with Pool View was spacious and had a cozy sitting area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We enjoyed the various breakfast options – the cooked-to-order English breakfast was a hit! The shuttle service to town and the falls was super convenient and timely.

The lodge is an excellent spot to unwind, with stunning gardens and a serene pool area that truly enhance the experience. The staff are exceptionally accommodating and attentive. Though there were minor issues with thin towels and slow shower drainage, the overall comfort and hospitality make it worthwhile.

batonka is just a short walk from the main attractions, which was super convenient. the staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we were sorting out our last-minute flight issues. we really enjoyed the lovely meals with a taste of magic added by the team!

Had a fantastic group trip! Staff introduced us to local spots, enhancing our experience. We booked a river cruise and a visit to nearby waterfalls through reception. The included afternoon tea was a nice touch, and the two swimming pools offered a relaxing vibe. Highly recommend this place!

The only downside was the inconsistency in room servicing. At times, we didn't get replacement items like water or toiletries. It was a bit frustrating, especially after full days out.
